New Geology Board Registration Process! (Effective 1/1/2023)
The Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG) will be administering the Fundamentals of Geology (FG) and Practice of Geology (PG) exams through a new computer-based testing platform beginning with the spring 2023 session. Preapproval by the Georgia Board of Registration for Professional Geologists to sit for the ASBOG exams is no longer required!
Scheduling Exams:
To qualify for licensure as a Professional Geologist in Georgia, applicants are required to pass both the FG and PG exams. These are national exams developed by ASBOG.
The process requires candidates to complete the Exam Registration using the link provided below. A link for instruction on the application submission process is also provided below. Once you are registered, an email will be sent to you with additional information and further instructions.
