Actions Taken by the State Board of Cemeterians at its January 27 Meeting

Atlanta—The State Board of Cemeterians met on Tuesday, January 27, 2008.

The Board voted to close the following cases:

• CO-986 Evergreen Memorial
• CO-988 North Atlanta Memorial Park
• CO-994 Forest Hills Memorial Gardens
• CO-1001 Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, LLC
• ENCM-00241 Crest Lawn Memorial Park
• ENCM-00307 Camp Grave Service

The Board deferred the following case to a future meeting:

• ENCM-00108 Barton Funeral Home

The Board approved a formal order of investigation in the following case:

• CO-983 Westview Cemetery

The Board directed staff to contact Savannah Cemetery Group regarding vault installation in connection with cases CO-944, CO-945, CO-946 and CO-951.

The State Board of Cemeterians will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Floyd Memorial Towers in Atlanta.
