Secretary Handel Encourages Slogan Contest Participation
ATLANTA- Secretary of State Karen Handel would like to encourage citizens to enter the Federal Voting Assistance Program’s (FVAP) slogan contestant to support voting by citizens residing overseas and military personnel.
“Voting is a sacred responsibility for citizens of democracy, even if you’re overseas” Secretary Handel said. “Through this slogan contest, we can encourage US citizens across the globe to vote.”

The deadline for submission is April 9, 2007. A panel of independent judges will then select a winner. The winners and runners-up will receive a certificate of recognition from the Department of Defense. If you would like more information, please visit http://www.fvap.gov/.
