and House District 21

Georgia Secretary of
State Brian Kemp today
certified the results
for the February 5
Special Runoff Election
in the 11th
State Senate District
and the 21st
State House District.
The certified results

Secretary of State’s
website:
http://sos.georgia.gov/elections.
The final
tally is as follows:
SD 11
Dean
Burke: 7,739 votes,
58.43%
Mike
Keown: 5,507 votes,
41.57%
HD 21
Scot
Turner: 903 votes,
60.12%
Brian
Laurens: 599 votes,
39.88%
In
certifying the results,
Secretary of State Kemp
affirmed that all
counties in the 11th
State Senate District
and the 21st
State House District
have provided to the
State the total votes
tabulated for each
candidate. Further,
Secretary of State Kemp
affirms that the returns
are a true and correct
tabulation of the
certified returns
received by this office
from each county.
Certification does not
preclude the state from
continuing any current
investigations related
to the General Primary
Run-off or from pursuing
any future allegations
that may arise from the
election.
