Actions Taken by the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors at its November 9 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors held its meeting on Monday, November 9, 2009.

The Board voted to approve 53 Low Voltage Unrestricted applications for licensure; 14 Low Voltage Telecommunications applications for licensure; 12 Low Voltage Alarm applications for licensure and 17 Low Voltage General applications for licensure.

The Board reviewed and approved the following Low Voltage applications for licensure by reciprocity:

  • William Lee Steele, Charlotte, NC: Alarm
  • F. Rance Borderick, Altamonte, FL: Alarm 
  • Donald E Baldauf, Bradenton, FL: Alarm 
  • Kenneth James Morrison, Albany, NY: Telecommunications
  • Joseph Harding Dopler, Bromfield, CO: Unrestricted
  • William George Bew, Jacksonville, FL: Unrestricted
  • Edgar Paul Hayes, Wilmington, NC: Unrestricted
  • James Donald Oliver, Tampa, FL: Unrestricted

The Board approved cease and desist orders from the following individuals for unlicensed practice:
