Action Taken by the Georgia State Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies at its March 27 Meeting

Macon, GA – The Georgia State Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies held its bi-monthly meeting on Thursday, March 27, 2008.

The Board accepted the following Voluntary Cease and Desist Orders for unlicensed practice:

• Georgia Enforcement Agency Inc., Atlanta
• BOS Security Inc., Athens
• Atlanta Legal Services, Atlanta

The Board also accepted the following consent order:

• Aaron Frederick Agency, Savannah: Consent Order included a fine of $750.00 for advertising the business in a name other than the name approved by the Board.  The Consent Order also places the company’s license on probation for 12 months.

The Georgia State Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 9 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
