Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners at its February 21 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners held its bi-monthly meeting Thursday, February 21, 2008.

The Board voted to adopt amendments to the following rules:

  • Board Rule 100-4-.02 Diplomate Status/Certifications: The amendment added the Diplomate of American Board of Chiropractic Consultants (DABCC) as an approved diplomate or certification status.
  • Board Rule 100-12-.01 Approved Chiropractic Schools or Colleges: The amendment added D’Youville College in Buffalo New York and corrected the name of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.

The Board accepted a cease and desist order on Norman Dabalos, D.C. of Atlanta for a period of unlicensed period prior to his license reinstatement.

The Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners will hold their next meeting Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon, Georgia.
