Atlanta—Secretary of State Karen Handel reminded voters today about the conclusion of advance voting and absentee balloting for the Tuesday, February 5 Presidential Preference Primary.

Voters will have the opportunity to advance vote in-person through the close of business on Friday, February 1. Voters will be required to show photo identification prior to in-person advance voting. A list of the advance voting locations in each county, as well as contract information for each county registrar’s office, is posted on the Secretary of State’s website: http://sos.georgia.gov/elections/advanced_voting.htm.

In addition, voters wishing to vote absentee can request an absentee ballot through the close of business on Friday, February 1. Absentee ballots must be returned to the county registrar by 7:00 pm on Election Day. Photo identification is not required when voting by mail.
