Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of General and Residential Contractors at its January 9 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of General and Residential Contractors held its monthly meeting Wednesday, January 9, 2008.

The Board voted to deny 299 residential basic contractor licenses, 188 residential light contractor licenses, and 1 general contractor license.

The Board voted to ratify 185 residential basic contractor licenses, 172 residential light contractor licenses, and 9 general contractor licenses.

The Board voted to set the following meeting dates for applicant appearances:

January 30, 2008
February 27, 2008
March 26, 2008

The next meeting of the Georgia State Board for Residential and General Contractors will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 9 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Board in Macon.
