Secretary of State Karen Handel Reminds Voters About the Conclusion of Advance Voting and Absentee Balloting

ATLANTA—Secretary of State Karen Handel reminded voters today about the conclusion of advance voting and absentee balloting for the November 6 county and municipal elections.

Voters will have the opportunity to advance vote through the close of business on Friday, November 2. Voters will be required to show photo identification prior to in-person advance voting.

In addition, voters wishing to vote absentee can request an absentee ballot through the close of business on Friday. Absentee ballots must be returned to the County Registrar by 7:00 pm on Election Day. Photo identification is not required when voting by mail.
