Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at its December 1 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology held its monthly meeting Monday, December 1, 2008.

The Board voted to adopt a revision to the following rule:

·         Board Rule 609-6-.01, Speech-Language Pathology Aides:  Changes the training and supervision requirements, and defines the scope of practice and renewal requirements for speech-language pathology aides in Georgia.

The Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology will hold its next meeting on Monday, January 12, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Board’s Division in Macon.
