Actions Taken at the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Meeting on February 10

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors met on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

The Board vote to approve the following applications:

• 43 applications for senior applicants seeking certification as an engineer in-training by examination;
• 18 applications for regular applicants seeking certification as an engineer in-training by examination;
• 93 applications for applicants seeking registration as a professional engineer by comity;
• Two applications for renewal of licensure;
• One application for reinstatement of licensure.

The Board voted to approve a cease and desist order to the following individual for unlicensed practice of engineering:

• Do-Hwan Kim, Lawrenceville

The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors will hold its next meeting Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
