Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors at its February 12 Meeting

Macon, Ga.�The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 12, 2008.

The Board voted to accept the following Consent Orders:

Tri-State Testing and Drilling, LLC, Chattanooga, TN: Penalty fee of $500 and public reprimand for performing engineering prior to obtaining a Certificate of Authorization.
John J. Funny representing Grice & Associates, Inc., Atlanta: Public reprimand, a $500 fine, and 12 month probation for failure to meet qualifications.

The Board voted to accept the following Voluntary Cease and Desist Orders:

David Lynah, Smyrna: Unlicensed practice of surveying.
Raymark Engineering, Marietta: For use of the word �engineering� in the name of the firm.
John T. Clark, Quincy, FL: Unlicensed practice of land surveying.
