Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy at Its August 26 Meeting
Macon, Ga. — The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy met on Friday, August 26, 2011.
The Board voted to approve 20 applications for licensure by application and 11 applications for licensure by reinstatement.
The board voted to adopt Rule 345-4-.05 Reinstatement of a License as posted for the 30-day minimum requirement.
The following petitions for waiver/variance requests were presented to the Board:
- Natalie Gregory, Rule 345-5-.01 Licensure by Endorsement: Board Decision: Denied, applicant must apply for licensure under the current requirements.
- Hajar Y. Sall, Rule 345-4-.05 Reinstatement of a License: Board Decision: Denied, applicant must obtain Continuing Education hours through an approved Continuing Education provider.
The following individuals signed cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice of massage therapy:

The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy will hold its next meeting Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 9 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
