Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Licensed Practical Nurses at its April 13-14 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Licensed Practical Nurses met on Wednesday and Thursday, April 13-14, 2011.

The Board voted to adopt the following rule:

• Rule 400-3-.07 Curriculum. Amended.

The Board approved the Nursing Education Consultant’s report and recommendations as presented from the following schools:

• Dalton College
• Okefenokee Technical College
• Georgia Northwest Technical College
• Bauder College

The Georgia Board of Licensed Practical Nurses accepted the following Public Consent Order/Agreement:

• Steven Paul Worrell, Gloverville, SC:  Public Consent Order for Controlled Substances

The Georgia Board of Licensed Practical Nurses accepted the following Voluntary Surrender:

• Hannah Freeman, Newnan

The Georgia Board of Licensed Practical Nurses accepted the following Cease and Desist Order:

• Alecia Y. Harvey, Snellville

The Georgia Board of Licensed Practical Nurses will hold its next meeting on May 17, 2011 at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon.
