Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Funeral Service at its January 8 Meeting Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Funeral Service held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 8. The Board approved the following orders to accept fine monies for inspection violations and settling cases:
The Board accepted the following Public Consent Order:
In other action, the Board voted to establish a policy that pending applications are valid for 12 months from the date received in the Board office. Any application that is incomplete after the 12-month period will be administratively withdrawn. An applicant whose application has been withdrawn will be required to submit a new application with fees to be considered for licensure by the Board. The next meeting of the Georgia State Board of Funeral Service is scheduled for February 12, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon. |
