Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Dentistry at Its October 14 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Dentistry met on Friday, October 14, 2011.

The board voted to post amendments to Board Rule 150-5-.09 Continuing Education for Dentists. The proposed rule amendments allow courses taken by dentists in residency programs to count for continuing education.

The board voted to accept the following consent order:

• Dr. Farrah S. Kahn, Suwannee           

The board voted to accept the following voluntary surrender:

• Dr. Donna Jones, Cartersville

The Georgia Board of Dentistry will hold its next meeting Friday, November 4, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
