Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Dentistry at its March 6 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Dentistry met on Friday, March 6, 2009.

The Board voted to accept a public consent order for probationary licensure from the following licensee:

  • Douglas G. Hiser, Cumming

The Board voted to adopt a revision to the following rule:

  • Board Rule 150-9-.02. Expanded Duties of Dental Assistants. The rule revision changes the requirements for a dental assistant to acquire expanded duties certification.

The Georgia Board of Dentistry will hold its next meeting Friday, April 3, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
