Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology at its May 17 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology met on Monday, May 17, 2010.

The Board voted to accept payment for fines resulting from citations against the following individuals or establishments:

  • LA Nails Too Salon, Brunswick
  • Queen Nail Salon, Dalton

The Board voted to grant continuances for hearings on citations against the following individuals or establishments:

The Board voted to dismiss citations against the following individuals or establishments:

The Board voted to post changes to the following rules:

  • 130-3-.02 Cosmetology School Curriculum
  • 130-3-.05 Esthetician School Curriculum

The Board voted to accept the following revised consent agreement:

  • Tina Terrell and Ginette Gilbert d/b/a Kenneth’s DJEA Natural Hair and Salon, Conyers

The Board voted to close the case against the following individual:

  • Salivia Graves, Conyers

The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology will hold its next meeting Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
