Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology at its October 19 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology held its meeting on Monday, October 19, 2009.

The Board voted to uphold past due citations against the following individuals or establishments:

  • Loose Ends Salon, Albany
  • Doretha’s Beauty Salon, Americus
  • T Ayanna Knightonbrooks, Ashburn 
  • #1 Nails, Columbus
  • #1 Nails, Columbus
  • Extreme Impressions Bty, Douglas
  • Le Nails Salon, Eastman
  • Sam Reaves, Eastman
  • Lovely Nails, Jackson
  • LaRue’s Haie Studio, Jonesboro
  • Keyuna Toi Beauty Studio, Lithonia

The Board voted to uphold past due citations against the following individuals or establishments but reduce the fines:

The Board voted to accept payment for fines resulting from citations against the following establishments:
