Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology held its meeting on Monday, October 19, 2009.

The Board voted to uphold past due citations against the following individuals or establishments:

• Sam Reaves, Eastman
• Lovely Nails, Jackson
• LaRue’s Haie Studio, Jonesboro
• Keyuna Toi Beauty Studio, Lithonia

• LaRue’s Hair Studio, Inc, Stockbridge
• Cache’ Hair Efx, Stone Mountain

The Board voted to uphold past due citations against the following individuals or establishments but reduce the fines:

• Lovely Nails, Hephzibah

The Board voted to accept payment for fines resulting from citations against the following establishments:

• American Nails, Athens
• City Nails, Athens
• LV Nails, Athens
• Classic Nails III, Augusta
• LaMystique Hair Salon, Columbus
• Nail Center & Waxing, Conyers
• Nail Center & Waxing, Conyers
• Lauren Nails Inc., Lithonia

The Board voted to grant continuances for hearings on the past due citations against the following individuals or establishments:

The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology will hold its next meeting Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
