Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology at its November 5 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2008.

The Board approved two Continuing Education Providers:

• Nails au Naturel, Inc.
• Atlanta Beauty Academy

The Board denied licensure by reciprocity to one applicant.

The Board voted to accept consent agreements for licensure from:

• Ann B. Smith, Bowman
• Stephanie Rene Watkins, Rome
• Jennifer A. Hudson, Gainesville

The Board lifted the probation for Star Beauty Salon in Toccoa, Ga.

The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology will hold its next meeting Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 9:30 am at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon, Georgia.
