Actions Taken by the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors at Its September 7 Meeting

Macon, Ga. - The Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors held its meeting on Wednesday, September 7, 2011.

The board voted to ratify the issuance of 48 residential basic licenses, 32 residential light licenses and 94 general contractor licenses.

The board voted to deny one application for licensure as a residential basic contractor.

The board voted to accept the following voluntary cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:

• Daniel Madrea, d/b/a/ Reliable Construction, Hoschton
• Grant Swenarton, Savannah
• Paige Nicole Adams, Tifton
• Brett Michael Smith, Byron
• William Moore, Valdosta

The board voted to accept the following consent order for probation of licensure for:

• Daniel Joe Conway, Tifton
