Actions Taken by the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors at its June 1 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors held its meeting via conference call on Wednesday, June 1, 2011.

The Board voted to ratify the issuance of 29 residential basic licenses, 22 residential-light licenses and 66 general contractor licenses.

The Board voted to deny one residential basic qualifying agent application.

The Board ratified the acceptance of the following voluntary cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:

• Garland Greg Gillis, Hazelhurst
• Sean Long dba Vato, LLC, Lizella
• Horace Booker, III, Rome

The Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors will hold its next meeting via conference call on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
