Actions Taken by the State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors at its March 4 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors met on Wednesday, March 4, 2009.

The Board voted to ratify 237 general contractor licenses, 82 residential basic licenses and 61 residential-light licenses.

The Board also voted to deny two residential basic contractor licenses.

The Board voted to accept the following Public Consent Orders for probationary licensure:

• Robert Leonard Foster, Chattanooga, TN
• Michael A. Walton, Gainesville

The Board voted to adopt the following rule:

• Rule 553-11-.01, Changes in Status Which Must Be Reported. The main feature of this rule is to provide guidelines for reporting changes to the Board.

The Residential Division of the State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon, Georgia.
