Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of General and Residential Contractors at its December 27 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of General and Residential Contractors held its monthly meeting on Thursday, December 27, 2007.

The Board voted to deny licenses to 710 residential basic contractor applicants, 513 residential light contractor applicants, and 272 general contractor applicants.

The Board voted to grant licenses to 223 residential basic contractor applicants, 69 residential light contractor applicants, and 23 general contractor applicants.

The next meeting of the Georgia State Board for Residential and General Contractors will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 9 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Board in Macon.
