Actions Taken by the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors at its May 5 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors held its meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2011.
The Board approved 32 electrical non-restricted applications for licensure by examination, four electrical restricted applications for licensure and 22 electrical applications for licensure by reciprocity.
The Board approved the following cease and desist orders:
- Marcus Hill, Augusta
- Tony Martin, Douglasville
- Bohran Asqurian, Marietta
- Johnny Wahl, Woodstock
The Board approved the following consent orders for substandard work:
- Willie Mumphrey, Albany: $500 fine and $400 restitution to homeowner
- Charles Edward Cole, Marietta: $500 fine
- William Hindsman, Tallapoosa: $2,500 fine and 24 months probation
The Board approved the following consent orders for licensure:
- Robert Shelnut, Forsyth: 24 months probation
- Joseph Bridges, Lexington: probation concurrent with criminal probation
- Maxwell Moody, Milledgeville: 48 months probation
- Steven Wooten, Tucker: 24 months suspension
The Board approved the following consent orders for assisting unlicensed practice:
- Albert Bolton, Jr., Grove: $500 fine and 24 months probation
- Robert Broughton , Fayetteville: $500 fine
- Lanis Williams, Jr., Lyons: $500 fine and 12 months probation
- William Coleman, Monroe: $3,500 fine and 12 months probation
The Board approved the following consent order for code/law violation:
- George William Faircloth, III, Stockton: $1,000 fine
The Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
