Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors at its November 17 Meeting

Macon, Ga.— The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors held its meeting on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.

The Board reviewed and approved 12 Utility Manager Applications for licensure, 33 Utility Foreman Applications for licensure, and 28 Utility Contractor Applications for licensure.

The Board accepted the following cease and desist order for unlicensed practice:

• John Orvin Lance d/b/a Lance Grading and Construction, Inc., Blue Ridge

The Board accepted the following consent orders:

• Dan Harmon Bain: probationary licensure to run concurrent with criminal probation.
• Brent Ellis Tanner: $500 fine and 12 month probationary licensure.

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
