Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors at its August 5 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors met on Wednesday, August 5, 2009.

The Board voted to approve the following applicant for electrical non-restricted licensure:

• Robert M. Jones, Columbus

The Board voted to approve the following applicant for electrical restricted licensure:

• Myles Alan Crowder, Lithonia

The Board voted to approve the following applicants for electrical non-restricted licensure by reciprocity:

• Gary Fink, Palm Coast, FL
• David Osborne, Charlotte, NC
• Edward Airs, Hollywood, FL

 The Board approved cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice from the following individuals:

• Stefan Colbert, Atlanta
• Herman T, Price Jr., Kite

The Board approved consent orders from the following licensees for assisting unlicensed practice:

• Qadyir Sadiq, Pine Lake: Fined $500.
• Robert M. Jones, Columbus: 24 months probationary licensure.

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
