Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors at its June 23 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors met on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

The Board approved 23 low voltage unrestricted applications for licensure; seven low voltage alarm applications for licensure; 17 low voltage general applications for licensure; 18 low voltage telecommunications for licensure and three applications for licensure by reciprocity.

The Board approved the following Cease and Desist Orders for unlicensed practice:

• Kevin Beebe, Augusta
• Joey Casteel, Lizella
• Frank Brozeck, Woodstock
• Dwayne Nowell, Dallas
• Robert Brooks, Acworth
• Matthew Cummings d/b/a Pye-Parker Fire & Safety, Savannah 

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Low Voltage Contractors will hold its next meeting October 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
