Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors at its June 8 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors met on Monday, June 8, 2009.

The Board voted to approve 16 electrical non-restricted applicants for licensure; 17 electrical restricted applicants for licensure and two electrical applicants for licensure by reciprocity.

The Board voted to approve cease and desist orders from the following individuals for unlicensed practice:

• Christian Wolf, Cleveland
• Shedrick Ballard d/b/a S&B Mechanical, College Park
• Rodney Peppers, Fayetteville
• Chad Marsh, Guyton
• Jeffrey Marsh, Guyton
• Carey J. Holden, Warner Robins

The Board voted to accept consent orders from the following licensees for assisting unlicensed practice:

• Harold Beach, Claxton: 24 months probation and a $500 fine.
• Melvin Lowery, Villa Rica: $500 fine.

The Board voted to accept a consent order from the following individual for probationary licensure:

• Frederick Nelson, Reynolds

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Electrical Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
