Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers at its August 19 Meeting

Macon, Ga. – The Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers held its meeting on Friday, August 19, 2011.

The board voted to ratify the issuance of six Registered Interior Designer licenses and two Registered Architect licenses by reciprocity as well as the reinstatement of two Registered Architect licenses and three Registered Interior Design licenses.

The board also voted to approve 13 applicants to take the examination for licensure as a Registered Architect.

The board voted to ratify 51 Registered Architect licenses and 14 Registered Interior Designer licenses administratively issued since the last board meeting.

The Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers will hold its next meeting on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon.
