Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy at its January 30 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Accountancy held its meeting on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

The Board voted to accept the following rule revisions:

  • Rule 20-9-.01 Registration: The rule change establishes a late renewal period of July 1st through September 30th for public accountancy firms.

The Board accepted the following Public Orders:

  • Charles H. G. Roark, Stockbridge: Voluntary Cease and Desist Order, Unlicensed Practice.
  • KPMG, LLP, Atlanta: Consent Order, Unprofessional and Unethical Practices.

The Georgia State Board of Accountancy will hold their next meeting on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
