Friday, April 04 Today we conclude the Governor’s business mission to China. I’m grateful for this opportunity to travel with Governor and Mrs. Perdue and the entire delegation of Georgians throughout China, to learn about the Chinese culture and economy, establish many new relationships and, most important, tell the story of the wonderful state we call home. All across the globe we are witnessing the miracle of individual liberty born through economic empowerment. As we strengthen our ties to emerging nations through business missions and educational exchanges, Georgia and our nation will also reap great benefits. The new Georgia Business Advisory Center in Beijing is just one example of taking those important first steps toward long lasting and beneficial relationships. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about my travels as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you. Tomorrow we board the Delta Boeing 777 for the 15 hour flight back to Atlanta. I look forward to touching down in Georgia, and to sharing my stories and answering your questions as I travel throughout the state.
