Description:
The database includes the name of the series, the agency which created the series, the date span of the records, and the Record Group-Subgroup-Series number. Approximately 1,700 database records include links to inventories of the records in the series. In addition to the database information, the inventories include a description of what information is found in the records, a list of volume, box or folder titles in the series (in most cases), and related information. Not all of the paper inventories have been converted to electronic form. Additional searching in hardcopy at the Georgia Archives may be necessary for a comprehensive search.
