Georgia Capitol Museum and Tours introduces Fun with Miss Freedom

In an effort to improve the educational experience of your students, the Capitol Museum and Tour program is proud to offer a new program, Fun with Miss Freedom! Named in honor of the statue on top of the Georgia Capitol, Fun with Miss Freedom will engage your students as they learn about our great state.

This hands-on educational activity takes students on a journey through the Capitol Museum to learn about State Government, the Capitol building, the state of Georgia, and the artifacts on display in the museum. In small groups students will explore the museum to discover interesting facts and use their imaginations to develop exciting ideas. Fun with Miss Freedom serves as an introduction to the Capitol or as an engaging review of the information shared during your guided tour. In either scenario, your students will have a more fulfilling visit to the Georgia Capitol.

If your group is interested in participating in Fun with Miss Freedom, please contact the tour staff at 404-463-4536. When your group arrives for your guided tour, the staff will provide program handouts along with instructions. Thank you again for scheduling a tour of the Georgia Capitol and we look forward to seeing you!
