Actions Taken by the State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors

Macon, Ga.—The State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors met on Wednesday, January 7, 2009.

The Board voted to ratify 94 residential basic licenses, 49 residential light licenses and 234 general contractor licenses. The Board also voted to deny four residential basic contractor licenses and one residential light contractor license.

The Board accepted Voluntary Cease and Desist orders from the following for unlicensed practice:

• Leland McCall, Reidsville.
• Alex McCullum, Warner Robins.

The Board accepted a Cease and Desist order from the following for unlicensed practice:

• Samuel Stockton, Houston County.

The Board voted to accept a Public Consent Order from the following for probationary licensure:

• David Paul Frank, Fayetteville. 
• Ron Darren McDaniel, Atlanta. 
• Joseph D. Mitchell, Smyrna. 

The Board voted to repost the following rule:

• Rule 553-11-.01, Changes in Status Which Must Be Reported.  The main feature of this rule is to provide guidelines for reporting changes to the Board. 

The Residential Division of the State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon, Georgia.
